The strings in the set deliver full, rounded sound in all registers, allow consistent tone during fast passages, and maintain solid richness during lyrical sections. Magnacore cello strings come in 4/4 size with a ball end, and are available in multiple tensions. The A and D have a solid steel core wound with steel, and the G and C have a multi-strand steel core wound with high-grade tungsten precision-rolled flat wire.
