The Altieri bassoon gig bag is heavily padded with a dense, closed-cell foam. Rigid plastic is sewn into the quilted nylon lining to protect and separate the joints and bocals. The separate joints easily load into adjustable padded trays, so there is no chance of snagging the keys. The bassoon gig bag is only offered in the deluxe style, with modular backpack straps that tuck into one of the two large pockets.
