Islander Ukuleles are designed by Kanilea, a world-leader in ukulele making based in Oahu, Hawaii. The MAS-4 features a stunning spalted maple top, back and sides. All Islander ukuleles take many of their design features from the Kanilea, like bridge pins on the bridge allowing less tension on the bridge, 1.5″ nut width for easier playing and less chance of string roll-off and first-generation Kanilea bracing for a superior sound.
