Rittenhouse Needlepoint Chips and Guacamole Needlepoint Canvas

This hand painted needlepoint canvas by Rittenhouse Needlepoint features a molcajete of guacamole with tortilla chips. Guacamole or ahuacamolli originates with the Aztecs in the 1500s. It didn’t become widely popular in the US until the early 1990s, after a “Guacamole Bowl” was promoted during the 1992 Superbowl.
